Microsoft Word For Mac Footnote Shortcut
Are their any hidden keystrokes in Microsoft Word? Specifically a key combination that would allow me to easily insert a footnote? Suggestions for both OSX and XP versions appreciated.

Microsoft
  • May 11, 2009 After entering a footnote or endnote, Word seems to leave you stranded. Fortunately, a quick keyboard shortcut will take you back to the spot where you were working in your document.
  • Here's how to add them in Microsoft Word. How to Insert Footnotes in Microsoft Word. Click on the word or phrase in the document where you want to place a footnote. Click the Reference tab.
Tools/Macro/Macros change the Macros in: to Word Commands and type lis and select ListCommands
I suggest sorting by Modifier and Key, deleting the commands with out keystroke equivalents.
Print and enjoy.

5 Click in the Press New Shortcut Key text box, and then press the key combination that you want to assign to the style. When you press the keys, Word writes out the key combination for you. The plus sign indicates that the keys must be held down together.

Microsoft windows and macos use a blank interface. Oct 11, 2009  Macs use an operating system called Mac OS X which will not run applications written for the Windows operating system. Microsoft produce a Mac OS X version of Word for Apple's Mac computers. There is the option of installing the Windows operating system on a MacBook alongside Mac OS X. The OS is moved into RAM. In Windows, which character is used as a path separator? If Microsoft Word 2010 is used to create a file, which file extension is added automatically? Which of the following would be a name of a Microsoft Access file? You can restore files that have been moved to the Recycle Bin. Aug 31, 2009  There is a Mac version. If you wait for Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac, its interface will be more similar to the one used in Windows. Also: Numbers, part of iWork, a similar spreadsheet program, more consumer oriented. And: OpenOffice.org Calc, it's like Excel 97 or something, cross-platform so it will work on Mac. Sep 04, 2015  All Mac software that did not receive a complete rewrite to the new framework would run in the equivalent of the Classic environment. To permit a smooth transition from Mac OS 9 to (Mac) OS X, the Carbon Application Programming Interface (API) was created.

cmd + option + F in Word X. To find and change keyboard shortcuts in word X, go to options > customize and click the keyboard button on the bottom of the window that'll pop up.
