Microsoft Silverlight Mac High Sierra
As of September 25, 2017, macOS 10.13 High Sierra is publicly available for all Mac users to install. Office 2016 for Mac is fully supported on High Sierra. For the best experience, we recommend you update Office to version 15.38 or later.

- I was on Mac OS High Sierra and then Silverlight was working on Safari until I installed Safari 12. At that point Firefox ESR 52.1.0 still ran Silverlight. I along with other users of a company Silverlight application have updated to Mac OS Mojave.
- 2020-2-15 I have had some issues with silverlight for a while now that i have not been able to solve. I have tried uninstalling completely and reinstalled several different versions of it and still am not able to use anything that requires silverlight working on my mac. If anyone can decipher crash logs.
- 2018-9-26 I use silverlight for probably 70% of my work software and experienced this exact same problem today, also on 10.12.6. Can't get anything done now. I've avoided upgrading to High Sierra specifically worried that I'd lose the ability to use Silverlight. Now I've found out that Firefox has also discontinued support for Silverlight.
Office 2016 for Mac
2020-3-11 The current version of Google Chrome is running Netflix just fine on my mac. (mid 2010 mini, 10.13.6 High Sierra) That's the only work around I know for older macs, according to Netflix newer macs will show video in html5. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Lync have not been tested on macOS 10.13 High Sierra, and no formal support for this configuration will be provided.
Since October 10, 2017, Office for Mac 2011* is no longer supported. Microsoft windows license for mac office.
